Liz Kennedy, Designer
Liz was born in Mississippi but has lived in Alabama since she was six months old. She grew up in Alabaster and attended Thompson High School where she graduated from with an Advanced Diploma. After graduating from high school, she attended college at the University of North Alabama where she received her degree in Interior Design. Since then, she has worked in the tile and stone industry in both design and sales. Liz designs all of the layouts for our projects and assists customers with their selections.
Chris Stine, Superintendent
Chris comes from Norfolk, Virginia. He attended the University of Virginia where he received his degree in Religious Studies. After college Chris spent four years as a youth minister while exploring his interest in building through mission work, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, and interning with a custom homebuilder. When Chris decided to pursue construction as a full time career, he moved to Birmingham with his wife and joined the Lovette team. Chris oversees on-site work and manages our subcontractors to ensure our projects run smoothly.
Jeremy Harmon, Project Manager
Jeremy grew up in Bluff Park and went to Hoover High School before attending Southern Union Community College. He began his remodeling career at the age of 18 and has over 15 years of experience in the remodeling industry. Jeremy has worked on every aspect of a remodeling project starting as a carpenter’s apprentice and worked his way up through the ranks as a lead carpenter, superintendent and is now a full time project manager. He currently manages projects including kitchens, baths and additions. He is married and has two children.
Karen Bartlett, Office Manager
Karen grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and moved to Birmingham, AL in 1994 with her family. She has been in the construction industry for 20 years and has served as the Office Manager for Lovette Construction since 2011. She is responsible for client financials, tracking selections with vendors and managing the online management system for each project.
Clint Lovette, President
Clint grew up in Vestavia Hills, AL and attended Vestavia High School before going to the University of Alabama and receiving his degree in Business Management. He spent 10 years in a corporate business development position while remodeling three of his existing homes. In 2005, he decided to take his passion for remodeling and design to the next level and founded Lovette Construction. He holds the Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR) and Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist designations from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB.org). He is very active in the Greater Birmingham Association of Home Builders and serves on the Executive Board as the Treasurer. He is also on the Board of Directors for the Remodelers Council and serves as the Treasurer for the Home Builders Association of Alabama’s Remodelers Council.
